A timeless masterpiece known for its bold yellows. You know I had to recreate it. Bright colour and texture are at the heart of what I do, and this piece gave me the perfect opportunity to lean fully into that.
The faces were the biggest challenge. Capturing that level of expression and detail within such a small space with yarn required patience, restraint, and a lot of precision. Yarn doesn’t allow for tiny brushstrokes, so I had to thoughtfully simplify elements from the original while preserving its emotion and movement.
This piece truly tested my technique and pushed my craft forward. Every strand placed was intentional. Reinterpreting a classic like this is always a balance between honouring the original and making it unmistakably my own, and I’m proud of how it came together.
